“It is not every day we see an industrial technician apprentice make such a high grade average. 12 is the highest grade and is not something just handed out. This requires that the tasks carried out are virtually error-free and that any errors are insignificant.” – Viggo Christensen, Industrial Technician Teacher at Herningsholm Erhvervsskole og Gymnasier.
Meet Sune Kristensen – our apprentice with sky-high results. Sune is Industrial Technician Apprentice at Wila A/S. He has done an amazing job in his 3rd main semester at Herningsholm Erhvervsskole og Gymnasier resulting in a grade average of 11,3. It is safe to say, that we are very proud of Sune – both of his accomplishments at his school and his work here at Wila so far.
“We are very proud of having Sune on our team. Both professionally and personally he is very competent. It is amazing to be part of his great development” says Michael Nielsen, Plant Manager Wila A/S
Sune has not only focused on one area or a narrow field of work. He has been, and still is, interested in the “whole palette”. This is a fact that we at Wila make sure to support in the best way possible.
“I know many apprentices, who do not have the opportunity to try different fields of work. Certainly not in the first couple of years of their education. Here at Wila, I have been trusted with different tasks from my first day.” – Sune Kristensen, Industrial Technician Apprentice at Wila A/S.
Viggo Christensen, Teacher at Herningsholm Erhvervsskole og Gymnasier views Sunes high grade average as a result of a student who makes an extra effort, but this cannot stand alone. Viggo Christensen also highlights the company’s share in the impressive outcome.
“The company where the apprentice receives the practical training certainly also has a large share in the apprentice’s success. It is certainly not everywhere you see a well-organized and operational plan for the training of apprentices. Therefore, it is excellent for a teacher like me to feel the pride Wila express when one of their apprentices does well. This shows that training is important to the company. And this will help to raise the professional level of the apprentices.” – Viggo Christensen, Industrial Technician Teacher at Herningsholm Erhvervsskole og Gymnasier.
At Wila we take the work with our apprentices very important. Therefore we make sure to support their further development in the best way possible.
