You can feel the enthusiasm throughout the company

Charlotte Nørgaard was appointed order processor at Wila on the 8th of March. After just a few weeks with the company, it has become clear to her what kind of journey Wila is taking, and how much they focus on human qualities and values.

Wila is on a journey of growth. This means increased activity throughout the organisation, and hence, also in the ordering department. An employee with an eye for detail, deadlines, and customer satisfaction is needed here. And Charlotte is the one. Because she both has a relevant technical background and long-term experience.

‘I am a skilled tools manufacturer, and I have a Degree in Technical Maintenance. I’ve also completed courses in Lean and Sixsigma. So I have an ample professional expertise to draw from,’ says Charlotte.

For the past ten years she has been working on planning and optimisation of maintenance, spare parts and parts lists for machinery and equipment. She believes that this experience, combined with technical insight and a highly systematic approach to her work, will be a great asset in her job as an order processor.

‘I’m committed to providing the best service for everyone. An important area of focus for me is to play my part in delivering quality, meeting delivery times, and hence, achieving and maintaining customer satisfaction,’ says Charlotte.

Wants to do her bit to make a difference

A good working day for her, therefore, is a day where she has done her part in making a difference – for colleagues as well as customers.

A perspective that harmonises well with the view at Wila that the company would not be where it is today if it were not for its workers and the relationships between them. An understanding of customers’ differences, and the desire to do your best every day are important factors here. This means, there is a great team spirit; people help each other, and care is taken to ensure that staff members enjoy working as part of a well-organised and well-functioning team.

Attention to human qualities means something

Attention to customer satisfaction, but also the fact that throughout Wila’s journey of growth people are considered the strongest asset, are some of the things that attracted Charlotte to Wila.

‘Although your focus is on innovation, it’s the human qualities and values that are important. That means something. And, of course, it makes a difference that Wila is an extremely exciting company that has huge ambitions for growth. You can feel the enthusiasm and the innovative drive throughout the company,’ Charlotte points out.

But what is the interesting thing about working for a company that is on a journey of strategic growth in a job as an order processor? ‘It’s the fact that I can contribute my experience and play a part in implementing new Lean tools and systems, for example. I’m looking forward to being part of the journey by contributing what I can and what I see,’ Charlotte concludes.

“At Wila A/S, we have a dedicated and skilled staff who perform all tasks with common sense, great professionalism, pride and expertise.”
