Recent incident at Wila A/S
Silkeborg, Denmark – February 15th 2024
On Monday, February 12th, at approximately 9:30 PM, a partial collapse of a production building occurred. The safety and well-being of our employees are our top priorities. We are therefore extremely pleased to announce that no personnel were harmed in the incident.
Focusing on ensuring safety and continuity in our operations
Although this event has presented unforeseen challenges, we assure all stakeholders that we are actively addressing the situation with the utmost care and seriousness. Our company is in close collaboration with the relevant authorities, and we have immediately implemented extensive measures to manage the situation, prioritize employee safety, and minimize disruptions in our supply chain. The owner of the building has promptly initiated the necessary investigations into both the damaged structure and the other buildings at the address. We await the results of these investigations before providing further details on the cause and any subsequent actions.
A specialized team is dedicated to minimalizing delays in deliveries to our customers.
