At WILA, compliant solutions are developed for operations where documented safety, hygienic integrity and predictable performance are essential. Compliance is not an added label; it is the result of controlled engineering processes, validated materials, qualified fabrication procedures and independent oversight.
When stability and compliance matter, equipment designed in accordance with ASME, CRN or 3‑A requirements provides a dependable foundation for long‑term operation.

The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) Section VIII, Division 1 is one of the world’s most recognized frameworks for the design and fabrication of pressure‑retaining equipment.
WILA is authorized to manufacture equipment built in accordance with ASME VIII‑1.
Equipment meeting ASME VIII‑1 requirements carry the ASME U‑designator and the ASME Single Certification Mark, applied only after the required independent inspection.
Producing ASME‑compliant equipment requires:
Equipment built in accordance with ASME VIII‑1 requirements provides predictable mechanical integrity, verified pressure performance and thorough documentation for audits and regulatory environments.

A Canadian Registration Number (CRN) is required for pressure‑retaining equipment installed in Canada.
WILA provides CRN‑registered membrane housings and tubular heat exchangers designed to meet the requirements of CSA B51 and the applicable ASME sections.
WILA has now achieved nationwide CRN registration across Canada for the following membrane housing types:

These housings are designed for 7.9″ membranes with design pressures of up to 600 PSI. The MHCUA 79 600 model is additionally 3 A certified, making it suitable for hygienic and sanitary applications.
CRN registration confirms that the design has been reviewed and accepted by the relevant provincial safety authorities and allows legal installation throughout Canada.
CRN registration includes:
CRN registration ensures legal installation, consistent safety compliance across provinces and reduced administrative complexity for customers operating in multiple Canadian regions.
WILA’s tubular heat exchangers and membrane housings are also available with a 3-A compliant design and finish. These are engineered according to 3‑A Sanitary Standards, which define the hygienic requirements for cleanability, geometry, surface quality and material suitability in process equipment.
3‑A sanitary design is based on:
3‑A compliant design supports hygienic consistency, reduces contamination risk and helps customers meet regulated requirements within food, beverage and pharmaceutical production.

ASME, CRN and 3‑A compliant equipment provide customers with a verified framework for safety and performance. Every material, weld and pressure‑retaining surface is reviewed and documented according to established engineering and hygienic standards.
The result is reduced downtime risk, stable long‑term operation and confidence in regulatory compliance.
No matter your industry or location, WILA supports manufacturers who value robust engineering, long service life and stable production performance. Our compliant solutions are chosen by companies across the world – all seeking the same outcome: consistently reliable processes built on documented quality.
