Holding cell tanks

We produce holding cells in straight pipes with a maximum length of 50 metres. We utilize holding cells if the length of the pipe exceeds 50 metres.

Installations made with holding cells have several advantages. Among these are:

• Less heat loss, as they are insulated

• Easier installation

• Less room needed

• Less pressure loss

Our holding cells are built as cylindrical tanks with a pipe spiral incorporated in the insulation. The tank itself can contain several spirals within one another. All connections lead to the bottom of a connection panel.

The holding cells can be divided into several spirals each of individual lengths.

The individual cells can be linked in series at the connection panel to achieve different holding times.

Wila A/S can offer holding cell tanks in pipes with a maximum diameter of 129 x 2.0.
